SteveSmithThe Community Church of Taichung (CCT) has a long and rich history of serving the English speaking community of Taichung. We conduct our weekend services in English, and welcome all English speakers whether it be their mother tongue or their second language. In fact, we rejoice in the cultural diversity this brings to our church family, and would like to think it is a measure of God’s grace to provide us with a foretaste of what we will experience in eternity (Rev 7:9-10).

As a church family we focus on gathering around God’s Word, exalting God’s son, and loving God’s people. Through our witness we seek to honor and glorify God by growing in grace and proclaiming the gospel to a fallen world. We are comprised of a nucleus of long-term members who form the backbone of the church, and we are blessed by those who join us for a season according to the term of their assignment in Taiwan. Our membership includes native Taiwanese, missionaries, teachers, and businesspeople – both local and expats – giving us a rich diversity of nationality, culture, and occupation. And because people come and go, we act quickly to extend the hand of fellowship and discover how we can serve your particular needs.

Recognizing that people will come from many different church backgrounds, we base our unity on certain core-beliefs. We call these the foundations of our faith, and they include our convictions about God (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit), the Bible, salvation, and the Church. You can view our core-beliefs here.

If you are looking for a church family that emphasizes our distinctives, we encourage you to join us on Sunday’s at the Morrison Academy facility. If you are not quite sure if we are the church for you, we welcome you to ‘check us out.’ We will rejoice in whatever amount of time the Lord allows our church body to serve you.

If you would like to learn more about the church, please do not hesitate to contact me via phone or email … I can be reached by mobile at 0911.237.030 or by email at pastor.steve@cct-taiwan.org.

We look forward to meeting and greeting you on an upcoming Sunday.

Blessings,

Pastor Steve
