Steve was installed as the Pastor of Community Church of Taichung in January of 2023. By God’s grace alone, Steve was saved later in life and led to pursue formal training at Capital Bible Seminary where he completed both the Masters of Divinity and Theological Masters course of study over four years. Steve, and his ministry partner Katie, served on the missions field together for 15 years (and Katie for 10 years prior to that) in Eastern Asia before a short return to the United States to serve in their home and sending church in Florida. While there Steve completed his ordination, was installed as an Elder, and served as the Pastor of Adult Ministries. Katie led women’s Bible studies and a read through the Bible program, and, along with Steve, cared for the Church's “seasoned” saints. Both Steve and Katie are certified as Biblical Counselors by the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors. When not pursuing his passion for studying and teaching God’s Word and shepherding God’s people, Steve enjoys reading and outdoor activities in God’s creation.
